Steve, thank you for accepting our invitation to answer the questions about the The HUSL project!
Our event will be held in 2 sessions:
⁃ First we will ask Steve our own questions about the project and chat will be closed during this session.
⁃ After Steve answers our questions, we will open the chat for five minutes to be able to receive questions from our members. Asking questions in English is encouraged however our translators will also translate the Turkish questions. Steve will choose and answer 5 questions of the community. Could you tell us something about the basic concept of HUSL, which caught our attention as a project for which we have not seen many examples in its field? How did the idea of HUSL come about?
Crypto Steve Urkel: Evet kesinlikle. Proje, çok büyük 2 müzik yöneticisiyle yaptığım bir söyleşinin ardından başladı. Dünyanın en büyük rap sanatçılarından bazılarını temsil ettiler ve sanatçı bip sesine ve yaptıklarına hayran kaldılar.
Ayrıca 3lau’nun ne yaptığını gördüler ve şaşırdılar.

Yes absolutely. So the project started after a conversation i had with 2 very big music executives. They represented some of the biggest rap artists in the world and they were amazed at the artist beeple and what he did

Realized the music industry is ripe for disruption and that a nft marketplace dedicated to music wokld do very well and empower artists to truly monetize their worth

This is terrible and something that needs to change. Traditional dsps are so skewed heavily against the artist it’s not funny.
Nfts represent a shift in power back to the artist. A conduit to allow them to remove as many intermediaries as possible

The goal isn’t to work with dsps. Like Spotify. The goal is to replace them
We don’t need to use traditional methods. We want to do our own thing and let artists operate on their own terms
