Q1- Could you explain where the name Retreeb comes from and the origin story of the project?
Jeremi Lepetit: Bildiğiniz gibi, Retreeb adı, şirket kurulduktan kısa bir süre sonra verildi. Başlangıçta proje DînCorp olarak adlandırıldı. Gerçekten de Dîn, Arapça’da “misilleme” anlamına geliyor çünkü projemiz İslami finanstan ve daha geniş anlamda İslam’ın paylaşım, şeffaflık ve dayanışma değerlerinden ilham alıyor.
Böylece Retribution, enkarne olarak Retreeb şeklinde ilan edildi.
You know, the name retreeb came a little later after the company was founded. Initially the project was called DînCorp. Indeed, as you know Dîn means “retribution” in Arabic because our project is inspired by Islamic finance and more broadly by the values of Islam which are sharing, transparency and solidarity.
Retribution thus became Retreeb to incarnate rather than proclaim.

Q4- We have witnessed many projects in the crypto world that started with the statement of “Payment Solution” but did not make much progress. Can you tell me what are the features and advantages that distinguish the Retreeb project from similar projects?

You know, I’ve been watching Defi emerge for 3 years and the payment industry for as many years and there is nothing like retreeb.
We make crypto and blockchain invisible to the consumer.
Unlike Stripe and Paypal, Visa, Mastercard and Amex do not charge the merchant directly, the banks do.
We are promoting a new model that disintermediates the banks by tokenising the transaction from the consumer to the merchant.
Our business model and governance rules are unique.
However, I hope that retreeb will set an example and lead the way. We need more projects that address the following triple equation:
#1 responding to a market need.
#2 respond to a need for profitability.
#3 respond to social and environmental issues.
You know, without a viable ecosystem, there will be no market very quickly.

Q5- We see that the Retreeb platform allocates a third of its network fees to financing social solidarity projects. You take a unique stance in the field of social responsibility. Could you explain your source of motivation in these projects?

So, I usaually like begin an AMA with this question. Did you know that there will be 1093 bn digital transactions in 2023? All the players want a piece of the cake ???? to make more money but nobody wants to change the recipe to put this flow at the service of the major issues of our time.
This situation must change. otherwise we are heading towards chaos.
With retreeb I have 2 main ambitions :
1st – Payment is the primary act of our relationship to the economy. It concerns the poor and the rich. I want this gesture which is at the root of financial flows to become a responsible and sustainable act. Not bullshit as the mainstream industry sells it to us. I want us to harness the flow of money to fund our social issues. And retreeb is a solution.
2nd I want the crypto to become invisible to my parents.
I want it to be integrated, adapted to the uses of the greatest number.
As told before , Retreeb is a bridge between the crypto world and mainstream payment.
Everybody wants internet on their phone and 4 or 5G, nobody wants to understand how it works. We are developing a mass market solution.

Q7- Can you tell us about the benefits of investors holding TREEB tokens in the long term?
Jeremi Lepetit: Retreeb bünyesinde sunulan hizmetlere ek olarak (kart, değişim vb.), token sahipleri CSR proje seçim sürecinin merkezinde yer alacaktır.
Merkeziyetsiz bir yönetim kurulu gibi, projeleri önceden seçmek için oy haklarını kullanacaklar ve bunu yaptıkları için ödüllendirilecekler.
Bu süreci merkeziyetsizleştirmek bizim için çok önemlidir, çünkü 5 yıl içinde on milyonlarca Euro’luk bir finansmanı temsil edebilir. Token sahipleri kilit bir role ve bunun sonucunda ödüllere sahip olacaklar.

In addition to the services offered within retreeb (card, exchange, etc.), token holders will be at the heart of the CSR project selection process.
Like a decentralized board of directors, they will use their voting rights to pre-select projects and will be rewarded for doing so.

Hi it has 2 wallets in our ecosystem. A consumer wallet and a retailer that accepts payments. The consumer doesn’t pay for gas, retreeb takes care of it. They are included in the fees paid by the merchant.
